Merry Winter Veil/Hogswatch/Christmas...

There, that should cover it.

I 'm taking a break until the new year. Mainly because not much will happen over the next couple of weeks. I may post what happened in Mage yesterday on Boxing Day, just to pass some time. I'm not going to post it now because it was a rather complicated session that needs writing in length before posting.

Fixed my friend's PC earlier this week. He now has a load of space... and on Monday, I have to fix it again, because he is getting a new Hard Drive (not that he's allowed to know this). Anyway, enjoy your turkey or whatever you are deciding to eat for Christmas. Hopefully New Year will bring something...

Ah... I missed the QotD in the last post. It wasn't intentional, I just forgot to add it at the end. Oops...

Quote of the Week: My friend purchasing of a fluffy bunny at one of those Build a Bear stores for his girlfriend
GF: "Can I have the sound of a cow mooing in it"
Mate: *silence* *stare*
GF: "It would be a cowbunny, or maybe a bunnycow then"
Mate: *continues silence*
Me: "I think you can safely assume that is a no..."

Ow, I ache

Well, I didn't post after returning from the Odeon because I fell asleep. I've also been very busy over the past few days hand writing CVs (I have no printer), fixing PCs and working on my latest project...The Dragon Project. I can't say any more about it at the moment unfortunately, but let's just say it will take me a long time.

We had another Mage session last night, which was great fun. Sliced a couple of dark possessed monks in half in one attack (without magic) thanks to incredibly lucky rolls. However, the person playing Susan Sto Helit, shot her RL boyfriend's character (with enchanted weapons) and nearly killed him... Luckily, I had just enough time to cast the heal spell before he would have died to save his life... He is however, still very much injured. Turns out we are in a monastery underneath Bond St. and the place is a shrine to greed. Consequently, one of the mages decided to start moving things around to see if there was anything worth stealing and nearly blew himself up on a trap... Lucky he happened to be the time mage.

I've now got the full line up for my Warcraft RPG game... A Tauren Druid Herbalist (Super Trippy), a Blood Elf Mage, a Mok'nathal (Half-Ogre) Hunter and a Pandaren Blademaster (Bamboo speciality)... so not entirely mad, and on Sunday they get to actually create the characters (While I make evil plans for world destruction, or similar).

Curtain Call

Yay, after walking about 5 miles yesterday through the poring ran to sort out my bank account, I have to do the same trip today. At least this time it's for a job interview, but I don't think I'll get the job, unfortunately, and that's before I even go to the interview.

It's a job interview at the nearest Odeon. Unfortunately they expect everyone that works for them to have either their own car, or someone who can come and pick them up. They don't accept applications that say "I catch the bus home" or "I walk because it's just at the bottom of the High Street"... which is a little silly to be honest.

Also, in World of Warcraft, I turned up to my guild's Christmas party and was given a nice little present for my effort. [Hammer of the Northern Wind] (Ext. Link). So with all the dungeon trips I made yesterday, I was a very happy little Night Elf bunny for the rest of the Xmas party.

So, I'll post again when I get back to say how I think things went. Wish me Luck.

A weekend of Warcraft.

Don't expect much to happen this weekend, I've been fixing my Druid and Warlock characters on WoW. Although I have had some fun stumbling in to the Blood Elf portal and Karazhan's entrance, shame I don't have the Master Key... hehe

It seems so weird to be playing it when all the material for the next expansion is in the game but no one can use it or access it. People keep turning up socketed items and post level 60 items... I've also been attacked by a level 68 creature outside Karazhan, which was fun...

Anyway, as it's the weekend, not much is going to happen, but I have got a lot to do on Monday and Tuesday, however, none of it is really of interest. If something turns up, i'll tell you.

From Marble Arch to Azeroth in the blink of an eye

Ok, so I missed a day, I was busy setting up the Last.FM bar...

As you can see my Last.FM list and DevART faves are set-up. I just rereleased my Visual Style on DeviantART, and it's doing very well.

Thursday was a little nuts, what with London having a tornado and us having bolts of lightning in an almost clear sky, followed by playing Mage: the Awakening with the weirdest collection of characters possible. We have Susan Sto Helit (forgive my spelling, no DW book available), Tiffany 'Susan' Pompoms from El Goonish Shive (Me), Fong Zhou Yu (A psychotic cross between Black Mage and one of the Dynesty Warriors characters), Victor (whos only answer seems to be go back in time and try it again, this time with a gun), Dracos (My friend playing himself) and Sarah (who seems to be the only normal character). Cue us, lost in London, while a portal to a place best described as mars with deadly things, opens up under Marble Arch... :(. There will be more on this next week when we actually get near the portal.

Once we finished the mad Mage game, the DM proceeded to prod me with questions regarding starting my own campaign, so, as we haven't played D20 in a while, and I've just got the Horde Player's Handbook, we're taking a trip to Azeroth. The party appears to consist of a Pandaren Brewmaster, a Blood Elf pyromaniac who only gets along with the undead and a Mok'nathal. However, more may join the campaign and as background for the characters hasn't been written yet, I can presume it will get very crazy very quickly...

Just a quick update as well on the status of things... I'm BORED... I've been running around for the past week trying to find work, which is always fun, now finally I have some, I'm bored stiff of typing up notes in a database. Oh well, you can't win them all.

Quote of the Day:
* My mates girlfriend walks in the door with bright red dreadlocks...
"Nice hair, can you climb walls, or are you not the Echidna I thought you were?"

Welcome, young fliers of the night...

Welcome to my new blog, the old one had got left in a mess due to the meanderings of real life, so I've decided to try again, but this time more regularly and with a lot more effort put in.

So, what will I be writing about, well, basically, everything... This is kind of like an idea spewing board (Nice choice of words), where my mind gets to run free amongst the fields of exploding sheep... or something like that.

Although I'm not posting this as a true post... I will post a full true post in a few minutes once I've messed up the template and made a completely useless design out of bits of wool and cheese (joking, incase you hadn't guessed).
